YX's 1st salon hair wash 13 sep 2015

YX's fringe had been getting quite long and I had been nagging at her to get it trimmed but she was defiant, as usual. We were at Tampines on Sunday afternoon as usual and had left her with my inlaws while we went walking at Tampines Central (I needed to chalk up my daily steps!)

On our way back, I happened to peek into the salon downstairs my inlaws' block and there she was. The hairdresser explained that it was easier to cut her hair after washing as it was in quite a bad state. Oh, the consequence of letting her be independent and shower herself unsupervised.

Her expression in this picture was one of both fear and excitement. Afterwards, she was pretty excited about the experience, judging from the number of times she announced proudly to others that she "had her hair washed by auntie".
